This interim notice explains the current handling of enquiries and photographs by Avanaesth. Retention periods, provider-transfer arrangements and the complete cookie inventory remain under review; this page does not represent those outstanding measures as completed.
Who is responsible?
The data controller is Muhammed Avan, operating under the Avanaesth / Avan Aesth brand. Contact: avanaesth@gmail.com. Correspondence address: Caferağa, Dumlupınar Sk. No:45, 34710 Kadıköy/İstanbul.
Enquiries and photographs
Information received through website forms, email, WhatsApp and social media may include your name, contact details, messages and photographs. Enquiry information is used to respond to your request. Photographs and messages about procedures may reveal health information. Contacting us or submitting a photograph does not itself give permission for advertising or publication.
Complaints and legal claims
Procedure-related photographs and correspondence are kept as evidence for complaints about outcomes and possible legal claims. This purpose is separate from publicity. Retention for establishing, exercising or defending a right requires necessity and the applicable legal conditions under Law No. 6698; the existence of an archive does not justify keeping all material indefinitely.
Publication and advertising
Avanaesth uses photographs with the individual’s permission on the website, social media, advertisements and through WhatsApp. Permission must relate to the intended material and channels. Past permissions have sometimes been verbal and sometimes written; this notice does not establish, replace or broaden them.
You may contact us to withdraw permission for future publicity or request removal of published material. Permission for publicity is separate from the handling of a complaint or legal claim. Health-related advertising remains subject to its own restrictions; permission alone does not make every advertisement lawful.
Who may receive information?
According to the current practice, Avanaesth does not forward enquiry photographs for external medical assessment. Website hosting, email and messaging providers nevertheless process information through their services. The website is hosted through Gnet, and the contact channels include Gmail and WhatsApp. Photographs published on social platforms or the website become available to their audiences and platform providers.
These services may involve processing outside Turkey. The applicable provider arrangements and transfer safeguards have not yet been fully documented in this notice. We do not claim that all information stays solely within Avanaesth or within Turkey.
Where are photographs stored?
Avanaesth keeps its photograph archive on a computer and does not automatically back up this archive to a cloud service. This describes the archive itself; photographs received or shared through email, WhatsApp or social media are also subject to the processing of those services.
How long are photographs kept?
The photograph archive currently has no fixed deletion date. This is a description of the current practice, not a justification for unlimited retention. A defined retention and deletion schedule has not yet been implemented. Relevant legal duties, the necessity of keeping particular records for claims, and any ongoing dispute must be assessed when deciding whether records may continue to be retained.
Your rights and requests
To ask about your information, correct it, request deletion or request removal of a photograph, contact avanaesth@gmail.com. Identify the relevant correspondence or photograph and explain your request. Please avoid sending unnecessary identity documents or medical records by ordinary email. Formal applications remain subject to the applicable identity-verification and application requirements.
Subject to Article 11 of Law No. 6698, you may learn whether your data is processed, obtain information about its purposes and recipients, request correction and deletion or destruction where the conditions are met, request notification of these actions to recipients, object to an adverse result based exclusively on automated analysis and seek compensation for unlawful processing. A request to stop publicity and a request to erase underlying evidence are assessed separately; this does not permit automatic refusal of an erasure request.
Cookies and browser storage
The language selector uses browser storage to remember your selection. The local-storage entry avan-language stores the language choice without a built-in expiry; it can be removed through your browser’s site-data settings. The session-storage entry avan-language-visited controls the first-visit language behaviour and lasts for the browser tab’s session.
Maps and videos can load third-party content when activated. Following a social-media or WhatsApp link opens the relevant external service, whose own privacy information applies to its processing. Clearing browser site data may reset preferences.
You can use the cookie panel to Accept, Deny or View preferences and save your choice. Open Manage consent to change your preferences later. Functional storage is shown as always active; the Marketing category can be switched off. Clearing your browser site data may reset your choice.
The language-storage behaviour described above was verified on the homepage. A full inventory of cookies across all pages and services, and verification of blocking for every third-party integration, are still pending. This notice does not claim that all non-essential tracking has been verified as blocked.
